Terms and removals

Cast is permissionless. Anyone can launch a coin, and the community decides who gets banned by public vote. There is one exception: some content comes down right away, by the platform, without waiting for a vote.

What we remove without a vote

  • Illegal content.
  • Any content that sexualizes or exploits minors.
  • Impersonation of real people or companies presented as genuine.
  • Targeted harassment or doxxing of private individuals.
  • Clear scams, such as fake airdrop or wallet-drainer links in a coin’s name, description, image or links.

What happens

We can hide a coin’s listing and metadata on this site and suspend the creator. A suspended creator can’t launch here. Hiding a coin on this site doesn’t change the blockchain: the token still exists on-chain and holders keep it.

These removals apply regardless of how any community vote went. A creator the community chose to keep can still be suspended, and a vote can’t undo a removal. Every removal is written to a moderation log with the reason.

Community bans are different

A community ban can be for any reason. A banned creator can’t launch again from their X account or their wallets, including new wallets funded by them. Their existing coins stay listed and tradable with a “from banned creator” label, and they keep earning and claiming creator fees. They can appeal once.

Moderators can flag a vote for review if it looks coordinated, but they can’t overturn a result on their own.

Your responsibility

Memecoins are speculative and most go to zero. Launching or trading here is at your own risk. Nothing on this site is financial advice. You’re responsible for what you launch and the links you post.

Report something

If you see something that breaks these rules, report it on X to our account with a link to the coin. Reports are reviewed by people.
